While this political art uses familiar shading and coloring from the Obama Hope poster the message is quite different. There is often a nothing of fear and uncomfortableness that comes from seeing women wearing headdresses. While there have been issues with certain religious groups and terrorist movements the art is speaking a different message. Not to fear these people but to accept them, that this is their country as well and that they are wrapping themselves in the flag not just their religion.
